Top quality elastic satin fabric from Toptex. The word satin comes from the Italian word "seta" which means silk in English. Satin is for example made of silk, viscose or cotton mix qualities. The satin bond is a weaving technique where the crossovers of the weft thread and the warp threads are equally spread. In a weft satin the shiny effect is created by covering the bond spots with the weft thread.
In our stretch cotton satin from Toptex, shiny weft threads and pale warp threads are used. The left side (bottom side) of the fabric is pale and the right side (top side) shows a shiny luxurious fabric.
